Enter each item explained below and press [Next] to proceed to the next setup screen.
• Incoming Server IP Address or Hostname—Enter the IP address or server name which the mailbox
account for the AR-P15 is serviced.
• Server Type—Specify the e-mail protocol used to communicate with the incoming mail server.
NOTE: When you are entering the hostname for the Incoming Server IP Address or Hostname option,
you must configure the DNS server to add the mail server hostname and set the DNS Setup option on
the AR-P15 (See “Setting up the DNS Setup Options”
P23).
SUPPLEMENT: To enter the value for the Incoming Server IP Address or Hostname option, press the
entry field to display the keypad screen. Enter the value using the keypad screen and press [SET] to
complete the entry.

Enter each item explained below and press [SET].
• User Name—Enter the user name of the e-mail account. For example, if the e-mail address of the
AR-P15 is “[email protected]”, the user name will be “AR-P15”.
• Mail Domain Name—Enter the mail domain name of the e-mail account. For example, if the e-mail
address of the AR-P15 is “[email protected]”, the domain name will be “sharp.com”.
SUPPLEMENT: To enter the value for the User Name and Mail Domain Name option, press the entry
field to display the keypad screen. Enter the value using the keypad screen and press [SET] to
complete the entry.
• The screen returns to the E-mail Setup menu.

Press [OUTGOING SERVER].
• The Outgoing Server options screen is displayed.

Enter each item explained below and press [SET].
• Outgoing Server IP Address or Hostname—Enter the IP address or server name which the mailbox
account for the AR-P15 is serviced.
NOTE: When you are entering the hostname for the Outgoing Server IP Address or Hostname option,
you must configure the DNS server to add the mail server hostname and set the DNS Setup option on
the AR-P15 (See “Setting up the DNS Setup Options”
P23)
SUPPLEMENT: To enter the value for the Outgoing Server IP Address or Hostname option, press the
entry field to display the keypad screen. Enter the value using the keypad screen and press [SET] to
complete the entry.
• The screen returns to the E-mail Setup menu.

• The Other Setting options screen is displayed.

To change the Time Out setting, press the entry field.
• The Time Out option screen is displayed.

Press the desired Time Out setting button and press [SET].
• In the Time Out option, you can specify the maximum amount of time that will elapse as the AR-P15
attempts to connect to the mail server.
• The screen return to the Other Setting options screen.

To change the Polling Rate setting, press the entry field.
• The Polling Rate option screen is displayed.

Press [5<] to decrease the polling rate, or press [>3600] to increase the polling rate, and
press [SET].
• In the Polling Rate option, you can specify how often the AR-P15 checks the mail server for relevant
e-mail.
• The screen returns to the Other Setting option screen.

To change the Attachment Scan to E-mail Size setting, press the entry field.
• The Attachment Size option screen is displayed.

Press [0<] to decrease the attachment size, or press [>15,000] to increase the
attachment size, and press [SET].
• In the Attachment Size option, you can specify the maximum file size of a scan for the AR-P15 to send
as an attachment. If the scan file exceeds this maximum, the file will automatically be sent as a URL.
• The screen return to the Other Setting option screen.

Perform restarting the AR-P15.
