MAINTAINING THE KEYBOARD MACROS
Keyboard No. [1-99]: Enter the number of the keyboard.

Use the up and down arrow keys, or the page up and page down keys to move the cursor to the keyboard macro

CONTENT:
Enter each key depression you want to include in the macro, for example, numbers followed
by a function number. To enter more than one key depression sequence on the same macro
line, you must separate them with a comma after each key type for example, 01F35,12F35.

The UP5700 also has an Extended Macro facility. This allows the selling of items within a list, and
also selection of items from within a management screen. The following selections are now available.

If the printer is unavailable, a warning message is displayed at the bottom of the screen. Press ESC
to cancel the report, or check the printer is on-line and then press any key to print the report.

OVERVIEW
You can assign a particular PLU code to a preset key, so that when the key is pressed on the terminal a sale is
recorded. A list of 99 preset key numbers are available and 17 key numbers are displayed on the screen at a
time.

When you have selected the preset key number you want, the PLU code can then be entered. A report showing
the current preset PLUs may be printed. Having entered the preset PLU keys, you should then allocate a key
position on the terminal keyboard using the Keyboard File function.

product using the up and down arrow keys and press ENTER to select the item.
