Feed the DVI analog signal to the 
INPUT3 terminal.
Select INPUT3 for the input 
terminal.
Checking the DVI analog input
Does the image appear?
Is the image distorted?
See if there are the R, G and B 
signals at pins (126), (136) and 
(141) of IC8004.
Are there the R, G and B signals?
DVI connector or its peripheral 
parts defective.
Are the sync signals of 
separation type?
Check the DVI SOG circuit.
Check the vertical sync signal and 
the horizontal sync signal at pin (6) 
of IC8330 and pin (6) of IC8331, 
respectively.
Are the sync signals as 
specified?
Are there the horizontal and 
vertical sync signals at TL8130 
and TL8131?
Sync separation circuit IC8330 or 
IC8331 defective.
IC8302 or its peripheral parts 
defective.
IC8025, IC8004 or their 
peripheral parts defective.

The DVI analog signals are SOG-separated by 
CXA3516R. The Green signal is fed to the SOGIN2 
terminal. The DVI SOG sync signal is selected using the 
bus switch (IC23).
Checking the DVI SOG circuit
Is there the horizontal sync 
signal at TL8082?
Is there the Green signal at pin 
(135) of IC8004?
IC8004 or its peripheral 
parts defective.
DVI connector or its peripheral 
parts defective.
Is there the sync signal at 
TL8136?
Are the signals at pin (4) of 
IC8023 and pin (4) of IC8336 
both at low level?
IC8001 defective.
IC8023 or IC8336 defective.
The DVI SOG circuit is okay.
