1.4.4 Client Billing
The Client Billing service is a client/server software add-on provid-
ing print-time billing code selection functionality for Printer
Accounting Server. Client Billing makes project resource manage-
ment simpler by prompting users to assign billing codes when they
print their documents. The Client Billing service consists of a
server component, installed on the accounting server, and client
software, installed on each of the workstations.

1.4.5 Macintosh Services
In conjunction with Printer Accounting Server, Macintosh Services
provide comprehensive printing management for mixed Windows-
Macintosh networks. Macintosh Services eliminates the need for
third party software to ensure authenticated printing from Macin-
tosh workstations to the Windows server. Additionally, Macintosh
Services enable you to assign printing costs to user accounts or
billing codes at print time.

Because it uses a correlated time-stamped session table to control
access to the printers, Macintosh Services must reside on the
accounting server. The client component must reside on each of
the Macintosh workstations.
