20) Attach the high temperature caution mark label to the heater
mounting plate.
21) Fix the front covers of the cassette 3 and cassette 4.
22) Set the tray 3 to the rail. Fix the tray 4 with the screws.
23) Fix the tandem tray with the mounting screws.
24) Attach the high temperature caution label to the tray 3. 
* Before attachment, clean the attachment surface with alco-
hol.

25) After completion of attachment, perform the short check. 
Power SW: OFF
Heater SW: ON
* Measure the resistance value of the AC input plug under the
following three conditions to confirm that it is not shorted. 
• L side - N side
• L side - Earth side
• N side - Earth side
D. Turn ON the power of the main unit
1)
Connect the  power cord of the main unit to the power outlet.
2)
Open the front cover, turn ON the main power switch.
3)
Turn OFF the power switch on the operation panel.
E. Installation of the LCC (A4) heater kit
(1)
Paper feed unit removal
1)
Pull out the paper feed tray.
2)
Open the upper cover. Remove the screw, and remove the
sheet.
3)
Remove the screw, and remove the left rear cabinet.
4)
Remove the screw, and remove the upper cabinet.
5)
Remove the screw, and remove the torque limiter unit.
6)
Disconnect the connector. Remove the screw, and remove the
paper feed unit.
(2)
Heater attachment
1)
Attach the heater, and fix by the screw. Attach the connector to
the frame, and fix the snap band.

Heater harness unit attachment
1)
Attach the snap band of the heater harness unit, and fix by the
screw. While holding the harness upward, attach the AC cord
fixer.
NOTE: After attaching the snap band, cut and trim the end of
the band.
NOTE: Be careful not to mistake the attaching direction of the
AC cord fixer.
2)
Pull the harness tightly in the arrow direction, and check to
confirm that there is no disconnection of the snap band and
that the square hole in the frame is not covered with the har-
ness.
3)
Connect the connector of the heater harness unit. Attach the
earth wire, and fix by the screw.
NOTE: Attach the earth wire at an angle of 45 degrees.
(4)
Paper feed unit attachment
1)
Attach the paper feed unit, and fix by the screw. Connect the
connector.
2)
Attach the torque limiter unit, and fix by the screw.
3)
Attach the upper cabinet, and fix by the screw.
4)
Attach the left rear cabinet, and fix by the screw.

5)
Attach the sheet, and fix by the screw. Close the upper cover.
6)
Insert the paper feed tray.

Connector connection
1)
Remove the screw, and remove the connector cover.
2)
Connect the connector, and tighten the screw.
F. Installation of the LCT heater kit
(1)
Assembling of the LCT heater unit (2 set)
1)
Attach the LCT heater to the LCT heater mount plate, and fix
by the screw (M3 x 4 S-tight). 
Attach the edge wire saddle and mini clamp to the desk heater
mount plate, and pass the LCT heater harness through it.
(2)
Assembling of the desk heater unit (3 set)
1)
Attach the desk heater to the heater heat sink, and fix by the
screw (M3 x 4 S-tight).
2)
Attach the heater heat sink to the desk heater mount plate, and
fix by the screw (M3 x 4 S-tight). Attach the edge wire saddle
to the desk heater mount plate, and pass the desk heater har-
ness through it.
(3)
Remove the paper feed tray
1)
Remove the screw, and remove the right cabinet.
