C. Removal of the fixing tape and protection

Remove all fixing tapes/protection materials from the exterior.

Open the front upper cover. Remove all tapes and take out the
protection materials from the stapler section.

2. Installation
Check to confirm that the firmware version is later than below.
If the version is older, upgrade the firmware.

Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation power switches
off and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet. Make double
sure that the data lamp on the operation panel does not light up or
blink when performing installation.

A. Preparation on the main unit
1)
Install the connection guide plate (Packed item No1.) with the
screws (x4) (Packed item No.5).

Insert the rib of the interface pass guide (Packed item No.2) into
the hole of the main unit, and install it with the screw (Packed item
No.6).

B. Installation of the earth plate
1)
Install the earth plate (Packed item No.3) with the screws (Packed
item No.6).

C. Installation of the stapler unit staple case
1)
Open the front cover. Install the stapler unit staple case (Packed
item No.4) into the stapler unit.

NOTE: The staple unit cannot be fixed if the power is OFF. When
installing the stapler unit staple case, insert it while holding it
so that the stapler unit cannot go deep inside.

D. Connection of the finisher to the main unit
1)
Fit the pin of the connection guide plate into the positioning hole of
the finisher.

Check that the hole on the protrusion of the connection guide

Open the front cover.
2)
Remove the screw and the wrench.
3)
Turn the fixing nut of the caster in the direction of the arrow as
shown with the wrench, and then loosen it.

When adjusting the height, make adjustment at 4casters shown in

the direction of the arrow as shown. (When turning the adjusting

G. Fixation of the lock slide plate

Fix the lock slide plate with the screw.

H. Connection of the harness

Attach the connector of the finisher and fix it with the screw.
