2. Installation
Check to confirm that the firmware version is later than below.
If the version is older, upgrade the firmware.
Firmware version:
Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and main power
switch and disconnect the power plug from the power outlet. Make
double sure that the data lamp on the operation panel does not light up
or blink when performing installation.

A. Installation of earth plate
1)
Install the earth plate (Packed item No.6) with the screws (Packed
item No.3).

B. Guide plate attachment
1)
Install the guide plate (Packed item No.2) with the screws

C. Shift tray attachment
1)
Insert the shift tray (Packed item No.1) into the finisher, and install
the shift tray with the screw (Packed item No.4).

D. Bracket attachment
1)
Install the bracket (Packed item No.7) with the screw (Packed
item No.5).

E. Installation of the finisher
1)
Attach the connector of the finisher and fix it with the screw.

Open the front cover.

Remove the screw fixing the finisher.
Pull out the lock lever, and lower it.

Attach the finisher to the main unit.

Close the front cover of the finisher.

Remove the screw and the connector cover.

Fix the plate with the tied cables to the main unit with the screw
(M3x6), and connect the connector of the harness. Tie the har-
ness of the paper pass unit and the harness of the finisher with
the clamp, and fix it.

Fix the connector cover of the main unit with the screw.
