Image transfer related 

When selecting a recipient for a FAX/image, "Job overflow. Input not possible." would be 
displayed, preventing sending. This glitch has been corrected. 

Furthermore, when this glitch occurs, updating the firmware can apply the 
countermeasures, fixing the machine. However, on a machine suffering from this glitch, 
performing the normal firmware upgrade to SIM49-01 will require an abnormally long 
amount of time, therefore, perform firmware upgrade using the CN update function.

Sending to a file server using Scan to SMB is not possible. This glitch has been 
corrected.

When using OSA applications, between the user name input and password input the 
screen would blink. This glitch has been corrected.

When printing from OSA applications, in some cases, print settings of specified copy 
count, etc. would not be reflected in the incorrect print results. This glitch has been 
corrected.

To improve transmission performance, the send packet size has been increased from 3 
KB to 16 KB. However, depending on the network settings there are cases where an 
error would occur. Therefore, the packet size can be changed in the software SW.

The factory-set value for Sim26-18 C/D item: "Toner Save (Display) Settings" has been 
changed from "0: Display" to "1: Do not display".(UK only) 

 

Also, changing the setting value for Sim26-18 A/B item: "Toner Save (Present/Not Present) 
Settings", coupling, the value C/D item: "Toner Save (Display) Settings" will change. 

 

1) If Sim26-18 A/B item: "Toner save (Present/Not Present) Settings" is changed to a 

"Toner Save" state (not "0"), the C/D item: "Toner Save (Display) Settings" setting 
value will be coupled and changed to the “Display toner save settings”("0"). *The 
setting values are coupled as follows: A item to C item and B item to D item. 

2) Even if the Sim26-18 C/D item "Toner Save (Display) Settings" is changed, the setting 

values for A/B item "Toner Save (Present/Not Present) Settings" will not be coupled.
