Address list related 

The performance of the address list has been improved. 

(Search Bar) 

- Addition of a key to switch between expanded and shorten lists. 

- The index is displayed on the large characters (expanded list) screen. 

- The index key is expanded to prevent mis-presses. 

- Index bar region has been moved outside the selection area. 

(Address book selection) 

- When displayed normally, the touched address is selected in the lead, and the 

display is expanded. 

- When displayed normally, touching the "Search Bar" expands the display. 

(Address book list output (print-out)) 

- Displayed addresses are output from "Action Panel" as a list (*). 

* All jobs list (A, B, C order) 

* Category/job organized list 

* A, B, C organized list 

(Regular addresses) 

- When displaying in each mode, only addresses set as "Regular Address" are 

displayed. 

- When selecting an address in each mode, a setting has been added to allow only 

regular addresses for that mode to be selected. 

(FAX Receive Data Image Confirmation) 

- The default has been changed from [Display List] to [Display Thumbnails]. 

- During image confirmation, the "Action Panel" [Print] operation will output all pages. 

- After selecting an image, the [Print] operation will output selected pages. 

(Retention (hold print) output) 

- Added a [Delete data after printing] checkbox.

UI related 

Improved the timing of the touch sound for the copy start key, etc.

UI related 

The content of the thumbnail icon in document filing would not always show the actual 
data. This glitch has been corrected.

UI related 

In the FTP/Desktop job mode, the tap operation of the unnecessary "To" button has been 
changed from “working” to “not working”.

UI related 

When the default display screen is set to a screen other than the "Home Screen" and the 
power is turned ON, the screen would display the "Please wait one moment..." message. 
Touching the message would produce the error sound. This glitch has been corrected.

The addresses of the simultaneous job that is waiting to be sent in order could not be 
confirmed. This glitch has been corrected.

When "Large Character Mode" is set, the index bar (search bar) in the address book will 
now be displayed.

In some cases, from the operation panel, address selection from the address book was 
not possible. This glitch has been corrected.

After selecting an applicable address from the address book and moving to the edit 
screen, another address would be displayed and editing would not possible or, the 
selected address would not be displayed and the address field would be empty. This 
glitch has been corrected.

Even if the "Next address key input during simultaneous transmissive communication” is 
enabled, the "Next address" button would not be displayed, instead several address 
would be selected. This glitch has been corrected.

authentication related 

After setting secure login user, if the power was not turned OFF and ON, a login error 
would occur resulting in a login failure. This glitch has been corrected.

When the main power is turned OFF and ON, there are cases where the secured login 
user would change to "other user". This glitch has been corrected.

Regarding user authentication, in some cases performing the prohibited setting did work. 
This glitch has been corrected.

From a secured user login state, performing the login/logout operation would, in some 
cases, cause the "Please wait one moment..." screen to freeze. This glitch has been 
corrected.

FAX related 

If a FAX send and a FAX receive simultaneously occurred, the FAX would not be sent, 
and further FAX jobs would be retained, resulting in FAX send not being performed. This 
glitch has been corrected.

FAX related 

Depending on the timing, after recovering from power saving mode and then going back 
into power saving mode, in some cases an "F6-00" error would occur. This glitch has 
been corrected.

FAX related 

Directly after a Fax receiving starts or if a power irregularity occurred while receiving a 
page, an "NG350000" error would occur. Then, there are cases where the machine 
would change between the [Printing] 

 [Standby] displays. This glitch has been 

corrected.

FAX related 

When set to "Large character mode", the registered FAX origin name and FAX origin 
number would disappear. This glitch has been corrected.

FAX related 

When sending a FAX, if a document was read using "Image quality: Normal" mode, 
characters, ruled lines, etc. would be left out. This glitch has been corrected.

System setting

In [System Settings] 

 [Network Settings], even if DHCP is [Enabled], the IP address 

would be input. This glitch has been corrected.

System setting

In [Security Settings] 

 [Port Settings], [Data backup (send)] setting has been added. 

When this setting is set to disabled (default), the address book cannot be updated by the 
print driver.

Image transmission 
related 

When using scanner sending and packet loss occurred on the network, too many 
packets would be resent, creating a burden on the network. This glitch has been 
corrected.

During scan to shared folder transfer, [User Name/Password Incorrect] error would occur, 
resulting in scan failure. This glitch has been corrected.

Using Network Scanner Tool Lite and Network Scanner Tool, performing a PDF scan with 
the MFP would cause the a TIFF file to be scanned. This glitch has been corrected.

Web page related 

When the language setting is set to German, etc., changing the home screen setting 
from web page would not be reflected in the settings. This glitch has been corrected.

Web page related 

Even if [Restore to factory setting] was pressed, Images registered in the [Home Screen 
Setting] in the main unit web menu would not be deleted, instead they would remain. This 
glitch has been corrected.

Power saving control 
related 

After receiving a FAX, the machine may not recover from power saving mode. This glitch 
has been corrected.

Other 

If power saving mode is entered while USB memory is attached, after recovering from 
power saving mode, there are cases where the following phenomena occur. This glitch 
has been corrected. 

- The USB memory icon would not be displayed on the LCD panel. 

- Performing USB memory scan would cause the [An error occurred while attempting 

to access the memory device.] error to be displayed. 

- The move icon is displayed if there is a superior directory on the select save location 

screen during USB memory scan. However, touching this icon would cause [Please 
wait one moment...] to be displayed and the machine would freeze. This may not be 
recovered unless turning the main power OFF/ON.

When the [FAX Address Confirmation Function] is enabled, [Scan to USB Memory] would 
not be possible. This glitch has been corrected.

There are cases where the page numbers in the communication records table would not 
be displayed correctly. This glitch has been corrected.

Even Service Mode Copy (Test Mode Copy) would be counted up as a total number of 
papers. This glitch has been corrected.

When accessing the public-main folder of the MFP and clicking the PDF in order to open 
the PDF file created with the PC browsable PDF creating function, an error would occur, 
preventing the PDF file from opening. This glitch has been corrected.
