FIRST COPY TIME DELAY- CHANGE OF SOFT SWITCH
          SETTINGS FOR POWER MANAGEMENT

1. Model Name: MX-2310U/3111U,
MX-2610N/3110N/3610N

2. Description:
It was revealed that there were conditions that the first copy time would be delayed

In order to address the trouble above, SIM43-1 and Soft SW 18-1 have been modified.

3. Conditions:
(1) Time to enter the Preheat Mode: Set to 30min ~ 240min

         (2) Auto Power Shut-Off: OFF or set to 30min ~ 240min

On the settings above, if the machine is left for 15minutes from the Ready state, it will go

into the Pretend Ready mode (Only the fusing unit becomes preheat conditon while the

     screen is awake*)

When the machine goes into the Pretend Ready mode, the fusing temparature will go

     down.

If the job is started during the Pretend Ready mode, the temparature needs to be raised

to the Warm up state, which will cause the delay of the first copy time.

     (See the chart below)

*Pretend Ready: if the Time to enter the Preheat Mode or Auto Power Shut-Off is set to

more than 15minutes, the machine will always go into the Pretend Ready mode after

     being left for 15minutes.
