2.Symptom:

In the side seal R part of the MX-3501 or MX-4501 process unit, carrier pinching may only
rarely scratch the drum.

3.Description:

To improve margin rise for the above symptom, as regarding the MX-3501 system and MX-
4501 system, the shape of the side seal R on the rear side from the 1st lot has been changed.
Also the MX-2300 system and MX-2700 system are commonly used, so the shape of the
same part will be changed in running change.

3.Action:

From February 2006 production
