MX2300N - MX2700N - MX-270U1

2. General:

The amount of starting powder to the 1st transfer unit will be increased from 0.5 g to 2.5 g.
Along with this change, the starting powder application when installing the main unit will be
abolished.
The starting powder application when installing the main unit described in the Technical
Bulletin 016 will also be abolished.
The package of the maintenance kit (MX-270U1/450U1) of the 1st transfer unit and that of
service parts after change have “C” marks. No starting powder application is necessary
when using these kits.
However, the starting powder application when carrying out the maintenance work such
as the 1st transfer belt replacement shall be performed as usual.

3. Action:

From mid-March 2007 production
