2. Description: 

 

Because we found that models for the Japanese market had a creasing surface on the 
upper heat roller periphery, which caused the separator pawl to scratch the surface of the 
upper heat roller, we changed the upper heat roller, replacing NROLI1534FCZ1 with 
NROLI1534FCZ2.  
In the case of models destined for european markets, the separator pawl was of non-
contact type. Therefore, it did not give any damage to the upper heat roller.  But we 
changed the upper heat roller placed in the models for european markets at the same time as 
the replacement was made in Japan. 
We found, however, that the use of the same upper heat roller as the one replaced in 
Japan could produce slight deterioration in the separation of papers in the case of models 
destined for european markets depending on its installation environment or the kind of 
paper used.  
Consequently we decided to replace the upper heat roller in the models destined for 
european markets, replacing NROLI1534FCZ2 with NROLI1534FCZ1.  

 

Note: For the models of MX-270FU, or 270UH,  

 

“NROLI1534FCZ2” is not fitted. All of those products are mounted with 
“NROLI1534FCZ1” in the whole market.
