Select a scan file that you want to send to the Hold Queue and click on [Send].
• When selected scan file has more than 2 pages, you can specify the page that you want to retrieve.
When you specify the page, select “Page” and enter the page number that you want to retrieve.
• The Send - Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box appears.

Check the “Fiery Hold Queue” check box.

Click on [Send].

Saving Scan File in your Hard Disk
You can also save scan files in the local hard disk on your computer as PDF or TIFF file.
To Save a Scan File in the Mailbox to your local hard disk
1.
Start the Fiery Remote Scan 5.
• For Windows, click on the [Start] menu and select [Programs]-[Fiery]-[Fiery Remote Scan 5].
• For Mac OS, open the “Fiery:FieryRemoteScanApp” folder on your hard disk and double-click the
FieryRemoteScanApp file.
• The Fiery Remote Scan starts connecting to the AR-P15 and the Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box
appears.
NOTE: If the Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box does not appear and the error message is displayed,
please re-configure the connection to the AR-P15.

Enter the mailbox number in the “Mailbox” field.
• The scan files in the mailbox is automatically displayed in the list.

Select a scan file that you want to send to save on your hard disk and click on [Send].
• When selected scan file has more than 2 pages, you can specify the page that you want to retrieve.
When you specify the page, select “Page” and enter the page number that you want to retrieve.
• The Send - Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box appears.

Check the “Save to Disk” check box and specify the file format in the File Format drop
down menu.
• You can select either “PDF” or “TIFF” format for the file format.

Click on [Save As...].
• The Save As dialog box appears.

Specify the folder that you want to save the scan file, enter the file name, and click on
[Save].
• The screen returns to the Send - Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box.

Click on [Send].

Sending Scan File to Ftp Server
You can also send scan files to the Ftp server.  Unlike the Scan to Ftp feature which automatically
applies when the Scan to E-mail and/or Scan to Mailbox are operated on the Control Panel, you can
specify the Ftp server,  directory, and other details so that you can send scan files any Ftp server.
To Send a Scan File to Ftp Server
1.
Start the Fiery Remote Scan 5.
• For Windows, click on the [Start] menu and select [Programs]-[Fiery]-[Fiery Remote Scan 5].
• For Mac OS, open the “Fiery:FieryRemoteScanApp” folder on your hard disk and double-click the
FieryRemoteScanApp file.
• The Fiery Remote Scan starts connecting to the AR-P15 and the Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box
appears.
NOTE: If the Fiery Remote Scan 5 dialog box does not appear and the error message is displayed,
please re-configure the connection to the AR-P15.
