 Operation

After all the above has been completed the unit is then ready for operation.
All the necessary files will be installed on to the HHT and sales can begin.

The unit can perform the following operations

a.  Product Sales – The screens and lists will appear as if used on the
Venta PRO POS terminal, this has been done in order to make
operation transition for operators from a POS Terminal to a HHT easy
as all the screen transitions can be as on the POS Terminal.
b.  Bill Printing – Bills can be created on the HHT and printed on the POS
System
c.  Payments – All currency payments normally carried out on the POS
Terminal can be done on the HHT. The exception to this is external
POS payments such as EFT & Post To Room.

Note

As the HHT takes the screens from the POS Terminal, if small buttons are
used on the POS it maybe necessary to create separate screens and lists for
the HHT. If this is done remember to set the start-up screen on the HHT to
use the new HHT start-up screen not the POS start-up screen

Below is a selection of screens that maybe used on the HHT during operation
and descriptions of their use.

1.  This screen displays on entering Trading if the product is not registered.
For security reasons in this condition only a limited number of items can
be sent from the HHT to the POS System

7.  The following screen is a normal list screen. Please note on this screen as
with ALL screens the B & S indicators at the top. These indicators are the
Battery Level and wireless Signal strength meters. If either Battery or
Signal reduce these meter buttons will change from green to yellow and
then red when the environment is critical. If the battery indicator goes red
recharge the unit/battery. If the signal strength meter goes red contact
you supplier as the wireless network has potential “Bad” areas and could
result in unreliable communications with the POS System
