4 INSTALLATION
4.1.
Minimum Space Requirements
Be sure to maintain the recommended space requirements for proper ventilation.

4.2.
Reversing Flatbed Sheet (as required)
When selecting white as the background color of scanned documents, perform the following:
(1) Open the Document Cover.
(2) Push the center of the right edge (A) of the Flatbed Sheet
towards the left to slide the sheet.
(3) While slightly lifting the ear of the left side of the Flatbed
Sheet in the direction of the arrow (1), pull the sheet in the
direction of the arrow (2) to remove it.

(4) Reverse the Flatbed Sheet. Then, place the tips of the ears
of the Flatbed Sheet so that they fit under the tabs of the
Document Cover.

(5) Slide the Flatbed Sheet in the direction of the arrow (1)
while making sure that the ears of the Flatbed Sheet are
held by the 4 tabs of the Document Cover.

4.3.
Connecting Scanner to a Personal Computer
After connecting the Power Cord (B) to the AC Adaptor (A), connect the AC Adaptor (A) to the back of the unit.
Then, connect the unit to a computer (PC) and to the host scanner with the USB Cables.
