4-7-6. User specifi cation contents playback 3 (USER3)
This mode can be user specifi cation contents playback to the de-
vice with the Bluetooth address described in “SETADR”.
This mode is not used for the servicing. Please check in normal 
mode.
Refer to “4-7-1. Bluetooth address setting (SETADR)” on page 32 
for checking method.

4-8-1.  NFC antenna self test (ANTENNA)
Note: Not used for the servicing.
4-8-2.  NFC PRBS test (PRBS)
This mode can be check the transmission format of the NFC.
This mode is not used for the servicing. Please check for the NFC 
connection in normal mode.
Note: If you have entered this mode by mistake, open the SD card slot 
cover and press the [RESTART] button of this unit, return to test 
mode start screen (color bar).
Checking method:
1.  By releasing the test mode, please to the normal mode.
 
(Refer to “2. RELEASING THE TEST MODE” on page 24)
2.  Press the [BACK] key for more 1.5 seconds, the home menu is 
displayed.
3.  Touch the N mark of the Bluetooth device with the this unit.

This mode can be check the NFC tag detection.
Checking method:

Detection history
 
Updating of detection is performed every 100 milliseconds. If 
detect the NFC tag to be displayed “O”. If not detect the NFC 
tag to be displayed “X”. Detection history will be displayed up 
to 128.

pressed, noise cancellation volume is changes.
8.  Save the microphone gain by pressing the [

] key and return 
to minor item.

This mode can be check the detection of noise canceling head-
phone.
Note: Noise canceling 
headphone is
 necessary to execute this mode.
Checking method:
1.  Connect noise canceling headphone with the WALKMAN.
2.  Enter the test mode.
 
(Refer to “1. SETTING THE TEST MODE” on page 24)
3. Press 
the

]/[

] keys to select the “NC”, and press the [
B
] key 
to enter the minor item.
4.  Press the [
v
]/[

] keys to select the “NCHPCHK”.
5. Press

] key, the detection of noise canceling headphone 
is executed.

(SHUTDOWN)
Function that power supply of set can be turned off without ending 
static test mode.
Procedure:
