NOTE: Installation must be executed in the sequence of the com-

plex machine body, the paper feed option, and the paper
exit option.

NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and

main power switches off and disconnect the power plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.

1)

Open the front door of the finisher.

2)

Remove the inside upper cover.

3)

Use a nipper to cut out the dust-box blind cover of the inside
upper cover.

4)

Remove the rear cover of the finisher.

5)

Remove the rear cabinet of the finisher.

Remove the earth, the connector, and the screw, and remove
the transport unit.

2)

Pull out the saddle unit until it stops. (MX-FN22 only)

1)

Remove the magnet plate.

2)

Purchase assembling
Attach the punch handle (Packed items No.13) and spring
hook plate (Packed items No.12) to the punch open support
plate (Packed items No.1) with the screw (Packed items
No.10) and the step screw (Packed items No.11).

3)

Purchase installation

Install the purchase to the finisher with screw (Packed items
No.10).

1)

Attach the punch dust full sensor unit (Packed items No.6) with
the screw (Packed items No.15).

NOTE: Hold the punch unit as shown in the figure below.

NOTE: Do not hold the motor gear.

1)

In the front side of the punch unit, fit the hole in the punch unit
with the pin in the finisher side then push down the entire unit.

Step screw

1)

Attch the punch unit fixing pin (FN21 : Packed items No.4 /
FN22 : Packed items No. 5) and fix it with the screw.

In the case of the MX-FN21 (Fix with the screw (Packed
items No.2):

Connect the cable from the punch unit.

1)

Attach the punch handle with the screw (Packed items No.2).
(Use the short screw driver)
