BOOKLET MAKER INSTALLATION
20.  Connect to Vendor PCB. 3 connectors. 5 pin A,P3 to J3 8 pin A,P2 to J2 and 4 
pin A,P5 to J5.
21.  Connect to Main PCB CN138. 
22.  Fit Vendor cable 1 3 pin connectors to J4.
23.  Fit BMX1 Interface cable to J1 of Vendor PCB. 
24.  Route and secure with cable tie the Vendor and BMX1 Interface cables as 
shown.
25.  Secure FNX5 rear cover. Route cables as shown.

Fitting the UI cable
1.  Remove User Interface as per MX-M850/M950/M1100 Service Manual. 
2.  Replace UI cable to CN101 on UI PCB as shown making sure the plugs are 
the correct way. Secure with cable tie.
3.  Feed cable through hole in the upper metal shield and refit upper and lower 
metal shields.

1) Remove the screw (a), and disconnect the connector (b).
2) Remove the screw (a), and remove the cover (b). Remove the
screw (c) and the operation panel unit (d).

1) Remove the screw (a), and remove the cover (b).
2) Remove the screw (a), and remove the support plate A (b) and
the support plate B (c).

4.  Route cable through the metal cover as shown.
5.  Feed cable through UI back cover and refit cover as shown. 
6.  Connect 3pin connector. 
NOTE: Centre pin must be black (earth). Red and blue are interchange-
able.
7.  Shows plug fitted. 
8.  Refit User Interface.
9.  Remove MX-M850/M950/M1100 back cover and the arm plastic cover. Con-
nect cable to the ‘UI to Vendor cable’ and fit in arm channel.
10.  Feed cable through arm channel.

11.  Feed cable down left side on machine.
12.  Feed wire along the base of machine and fix it to existing clips where possible. 
 
13.  Fit Vendor Interface and connect cable.
