3) Install the paper guide (Packed items No.7), and fix the screw
(Packed items No.3).
4) Engage the accuride rail (Packed items No.6) to cut-out por-
tion of main frame. 
Install the accuride rail while pressing so that engage the pro-
jection of the main unit frame with the hole in rear side of the
accuride rail. Fix the accuride rail with the screw (Packed items
No.1).
D. Installation of the left cabinet
1) Insert the rib of the left cabinet (Packed items No.10) into the
slit on the lower surface of the upper cabinet left. Fix the left
cabinet with the screw (Packed items No.1).
E. Installation of the paper pass unit
1) Pull out the slide rails.
2)
Place the paper pass unit on the slide rails, and fix it with the
screw (Packed items No.1). 
Push the paper pass unit into the main unit to install.
3)
Insert the front cover (Packed items No.9) to the supporting
point, and fix it with a E-ring (Packed items No.4).
4)
Install the band (Packed items No.12), and fix the screw
(Packed items No.2) to the front cover.
F. Installation of the toner bottle
1)
Install the toner bottle, and close the front cover.

1.  Unpacking
A. Decurler unit removal
NOTE: When moving the unit, use manpower of two or more per-
sons.
B. Fixing tape and protection material removal
1) Remove fixing tape and fixing bracket from the decurler unit.

2.  Installation
NOTE: Installation must be executed in the sequence of the com-
plex machine body, the paper feed option, and the paper
exit option.
NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and
main  power  switches  off  and  disconnect  the  power  plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.
NOTE: To  prevent  against  falling  during  installation,  extend  the
stand rail.
A. Connection plates F/R attachment
1) Attach the connection plates F/R (Packed items No.6, 7) and
fix them with the screws (Packed items No.4).
B. Shunt cable connection plate installation 
(Back of the decurler unit)
1) Fix the shunt cable connection plate (Packed items No.9) with
the screws (Packed items No.2).
C. Rear upper cover installation
1) Attach  the  rear  upper  cover  (Packed  items  No.10)  and  fix  it
with the screw (Packed items No.3).
D. Earth bracket installation
1) Fix  the  earth  bracket  (Packed  items  No.8)  with  the  screws
(Packed items No.1).
NOTE: Use the outside screw holes for fixing.
E. Install to main unit
1) Return the stand rail to the original position.
2) Connect the unit to the machine. 
Insert the pin in the machine side into the hole in the R side of
the unit.

F. Height and tilt adjustment
NOTE: When  the  adjuster  bolt  is  turned  counterclockwise,  the
height is decreased. When turned clockwise, the height is
increased.
NOTE: For  the  height and  tilt  adjustment,  use  the  three adjuster
bolts under the unit.
Turn the adjustment nuts of the casters with a wrench in the arrow
direction to adjust the height. (When turning the adjustment nut one
rotation, the height of the curl correction unit is changed by about
1.75mm.)
? To  increase  the  curl  correction  unit  height,  turn  the  nut  in  the
direction [A].
? To  decrease  the  curl  correction  unit  height,  turn  the  nut  in  the
direction [B].
NOTE: Use the wrench attached to the finisher.
1) Use adjuster bolt (1) to adjust the height so that the center of
the hole for the unit fixing screw in the F side is aligned with
the center marking-off line. 
2) Use adjuster bolt (2) to adjust the height so that the center of
the hole for the unit fixing screw in the R side is aligned with
the center marking-off line. 
3) Use  adjuster  bolt  (3)  so  that  the  clearance  between  the
machine and the unit becomes uniform.
G. Fixing to the machine
1) Fix  the  unit  to  the  machine  with  the  step  screws  (Packed
items).
H. Connection of connector to the main unit
1) Connect the three connectors of the unit to the machine, and
fix with the screws.
