38) Pass the harness through the wire saddle.

39) Tie the harness, and pass it through the wire saddle so that it can

be fixed tightly.

40) Install the rear cabinet of the finisher with the screw.

41) Insert the hopper from the front side of the finisher, and push the

hopper as far as it goes.

42) Cut the cover section of the finisher shown in the figure below with

the nipper.

43) For MX-FN29 (Saddle finisher), connect the interface connector

connected to the inner cover.

44) Install the inner cover of the finisher with the screw.

45) Install the knobs (x2).

46) For MX-FN29 (Saddle finisher), also install the knob shown in the

figure below.

47) After installing the finisher to the main unit, fix the position shown

in the figure below with the screw. (Use the screw removed at
Step 11.)

48) Close the front door of the finisher.

49) Fix the harness section of the interface unit, and connect the har-

ness.

50) Fix the connector cover with the screw.

1)

Connect the power plug of the machine to the power outlet, and
turn ON the main power switch and the operation panel power
switch.

NOTE: It is recommendable to work by two or more persons.

1)

Open the box, and take out the accessary boxes, packed items,
and cushioning materials.

2)

While holding the upper parts of the main unit and lifting the one
side of the machine, remove the cushioning materials. At this
time, be sure to hold up the plastic bag of the lifting side.

3)

While holding the upper parts of the main unit and lifting the oppo-
site side of Step.2), remove the cushioning materials and the plas-
tic bag.

4)

Remove the slope plates (x2) and the fixing pins (x2). Fixing pins
are attached to the slope plate with the tape.

5)

Align the line on the pallet and the arrow mark on the slope plate,
and mount the slope plates (x2) to the pallet with the screws (x2).

6)

Put the casters of the main unit on the slope plates, and then
slowly move the main unit to the floor.
