For the entry, enter a number of guests and touch the [GUEST] key when the table is open.
NOTE
• If a table is not open, the [GUEST] key is used for automatic table search function.
■ Closing a table temporally
To close a table temporally, use the [NBAL] or [FINAL] key.
When the [NBAL] key is used, the POS terminal does not calculate tax when a transaction operation is
performed.  When the [FINAL] key is used, the POS terminal always calculate tax.
Therefore, it is recommended to use the [NBAL] key when entering orders, and the [FINAL] key when
claiming payment.  The [FINAL] key is used when printing a total amount including tax on a bill.

For the settlement of a guest check, open the target table and finalize the guest check using a media
key.  Your POS terminal provides bill separation functions for a convenience of variety of guests’
payment.  When necessary, please refer to the bill sections later in this section.
It is recommended to print a bill to show it to the guest.  Depending on programming, you must print a
bill before finalizing a guest check using a media key.
■ Table alert
When a programmed period of time has elapsed after a temporary finalization by the [NBAL] or [FINAL]
key, a table may start blinking on the graphical table layout screen or a table transaction line is
highlighted in red in order to alert you to check the table if the everything is fine.
