In addition, new totalizers for the reporting exist, which makes it easy to see which turnover the
Supervisor has been made for another clerk account. These new totalizers are:

- Supervisor Order total
- Supervisor Paid total
- Supervisor Void
- Supervisor Sbtl void

Please see following example where Clerk15 is the Supervisor Clerk.

A new function for the customer bill has been introduced. The new
“CustBill2” function will delete all items from the Credit Customer
file, but the balance will remain.
By an additional order for a customer, on each receipt the current
balance will be printed. The current balance will also be displayed in
the bottom line of the receipt window.

If no items are in the Credit Customer file, the CustBill and the
CustBill2 function can not be carried out. The error message “No
data customer file” will be shown. In this case, the balance can be
erased by:
“\X2/Z2 MODE\2 RESETTING\13 CUSTOMER SALES2”

In a Inline System, this report is possible under “SYSTEM
RESETTING” at the Master only.

From operational point of view, the CustBill2 function will work as
same as the already known CustBill function. Also the filter setting
i.e. for a day range can be set.

Please see below reports with further details. First bill is a CustBill2 bill which has been made
after some registrations, made on several days. The second bill for same customer with an
additional transaction.

The new PLU Side type is available with this version. This feature is really new for SHARP
ECR/POS Systems but similar to the Condiment function, enhanced by some sophisticated
features. It is not any longer necessary to create a condiment list for the related tied’s anymore.
This request origin from the Fast Food environment where it could be used for a guest is
ordering the main dish and wants to select one or even more side orders with different quantity.
I.e. Pizza with double cheese.

Each PLU can be defined as a kind of Side type. Please see below for explanation of the three
different types.

•  “SIDEABLE” means, that this PLU is the leading PLU and after registration of such PLU it

is possible to register PLU’s are which set as “SIDE” or “SIDE W.ROLLUP”.

•  “SIDE” PLU is a tied PLU. To register such kind of PLU, a “SIDEABLE” PLU has to be

registered right before. The price of this Side PLU will be printed out together with SIDE
PLU.

•  “SIDE W.ROLLUP” PLU is also a tied PLU type. To register such kind of PLU, a

“SIDEABLE” PLU has to be registered right before. The price of this Side PLU type will
not be printed out but accumulated to the leading PLU.

- Neither a “SIDE” nor a “SIDE W.ROLLUP” PLU can be registered individually. They are
belonging to a “SIDEABLE” PLU, but it is possible to assign them to a Link- or Combo- PLU. In
such kind of registration, they will be treated as normal articles.
- Even a “SIDEABLE” PLU can be part of a Condiment, Link- or Combo- PLU, they will be
registered as a normal article. It is neither possible to register a “SIDE” nor a “SIDE W.ROLLUP”
after such a registration.
- After the registration of a “SIDEABLE” PLU, up to 30 SIDE PLU types/Free Texts which should
belong to this leading PLU can be registered.

For the leading Side PLU, quantity entries are not allowed. Tied Side PLUs allow quantity
entries.
If the leading Side PLU is voided, all the tied will be voided automatically also. Voiding of a tied
only is possible as well. By GLU registration later changes of the side registration is possible. A
special print layout has been created in order to make these changes obviously.

PLU’s of type of “SIDE W.ROLLUP” will not be printed on bill, because they will be treated as 0
price articles. Please refer to SRV #928C “Printing of PLU on bill when it is 0”.

For the reporting, each Side PLU will update its own totalizers, regardless if it is set as
“SIDE” or “SIDE W.ROLLUP”.

The Unit price will always be printed on the ER-01PU, because 2 line print is fixed.

Also a discount is granted on Side PLU’s. In case of a “SIDE W.ROLLUP” the price will be
added to the leading PLU, but the discount calculation has been made from the “SIDE
W.ROLLUP” PLU.

The number of PLU-Menu’s is increased to 150. All the new available PLU-Menu keys can be
placed on the screen and have the key numbers from 645 to 744.
