When you choose to add a server to the file, the fields are cleared ready for you to enter the
details of the new server.

Server No: Enter the number of the server, up to three digits. Please note that the system
has reserved server numbers 888 and 999 as training server numbers which you may use in
place of other numbers.

The maximum number of servers is set in System Parameters.
Server Name: Enter the name of the server, up to 21 characters.
Authorisation Level: Enter the authorisation level for this server, 0-5. The server will be
allowed to perform all terminal functions (as set in Function Control) which

Server File
Password : Enter a password for the server, up to three digits. The system will display
asterisks (*) in the field for security purposes. When the server wants to perform a function on
the terminal which requires a password, the password code must be entered exactly.

You can use the up and down arrow keys to move the cursor to any field you have entered and
change the details.

When you are satisfied the details are correct, press END to add the server to the file.
CHANGING A SERVER

Use the S, N, or P options to locate the server details you want to change.

Press C to change the details of the server displayed on the screen. The change option allows
any field to be amended apart from the server number.

OVERVIEW
The table numbers and names can be maintained using this function. You can add tables to
the file, or change or delete existing tables. Where you want to change or delete a table, you
must first locate and display the table details.

TABLE FILE OPTIONS
The following options are available to maintain the table file:-
A
To add a new table to the file. See Adding a Table below.
C
To change the table details currently displayed on the screen. See Changing a Table
below.

To delete the table details currently displayed on the screen. See Deleting a Table
below.

S
To search for the details of a particular table. The system will prompt you to enter the
table number. The table details are then displayed for you to continue.
