function is selected the following screen appears :-

If a Stock Group is selected (i.e Special 1) the following screen will appear if authority is
allowed :-

It is now possible to select any of the fields and apply amendments. The amendment should
be applied by selecting the new value and then pressing the box adjacent to the field name
that needs changing. On exit the new changes can be accepted or declined.

57. Fidelio Interface (Chargeable Option)
With Version 4.6.670 and above connectivity is available for the Fidelio PMS system,
Connectivity is available to Fidelio Express. In order to connect the Hospitality program to
Fidelio a serial link needs to be set-up between one of the terminals and the Fidelio PC. This
connection is by RS232 using the following cable specification.
Important Note
As the Fidelio Interface is used widely within the UK, many other
PMS systems will be able to connect. Currently tests have been

After these settings have been made the POS system will work with Fidelio. Care should be
taken NOT to set MFPORT on any machine that does not have the physical connection to the
Fidelio PC. From the above settings set them as follows :-
MFPORT
This setting is the RS232 port that is used on the Fidelio POS to connect it
via RS232 to the Fidelio PC.
MFTILL
This setting should be made on ALL POS connected on a system to
determine which POS has got the physical connection to the Fidelio PC.
MFID
This field should be set to the Site ID used on site. If left not used the POS
number is sent to Fidelio.
MFTMO
This setting sets the Timeout period on the POS if NO response has been
received from the Fidelio PC.
MFGCON
The Guest Check/Order Number field can be used in two ways. If this field
is set to “0” then the POS Transaction Number is sent to Fidelio in this
field. If “1” is set  then the Table Number is sent to Fidelio.
MFTAX
The Tax fields can also be changed when sent to Fidelio. If “0” is set then
ALL tax fields will be set to 0.00. If a “1” is set then the fields Tax 1-4 will
be filled with POS Tax rates 1-4.

This will set which Promotion Numbers are set to Gratuity. This is
necessary to ensure the correct amounts are sent to Fidelio
