45. Transaction Reversal
After the introduction of multiple discounts and EFT becoming more used, we have
introduced a new function that allows the complete reversal of a previously entered
transaction, including all EFT, EFT Gratuities and all other functions. The transaction is
simply input in the same way as it were initially entered, and it will be reversed, all the
totalisers will be reversed as well.

To realise this feature a new function (Function 81 – Reverse) has been added.
Operation
To use this function press the reverse button before a key entry is made and then enter the
transaction as it was originally entered including finalisation. The transaction details will then
be reversed. If the transaction is a Credit Transaction with Gratuity then after subtotal it is
necessary to over-tender by the gratuity amount. This will then Reverse the Credit
Transaction and Gratuity through the EFT Software.

46. NEW Table Split Function
To further enhance the restaurant functionality, an enhancement has been made to the Table
Split function. At present once the split has been made the only possible entry is finalisation.
The enhanced version allows the split to be put on a Sub-Table. So Table 1 could have a
number of Sub-Tables 1.2, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 all of which will behave like another table, it is
therefore possible to transfer a Sub-Table to another Table, and add discounts or other items
for a Sub-Table.

split the split items are displayed under a new sub-table, at this point they can be finalised OR

To access a Sub-Table the operator should select the parent table number i.e for Sub 1.4 enter
table 1, a selection screen is then made available which will allow the selection of the Sub-
Table. If only one table is present under the parent table, it will be selected without a user
prompt.

47. Markdown by Analysis
Currently the Markdown feature cannot have attributes set by analysis. Even if they are set in
Discount settings they are ignored. The new enhanced version will allow the setting of the
analysis settings. This will mean the operator cannot Markdown an amount greater than the
value of items sold by analysis
