Flow of operation
• The extension CPU (IC3) detects that the SDCD signal becomes "L" through the SD card connection.
• The extension CPU (IC3) starts a negotiation with the connected card.
The extension CPU (IC3) issues a command on the SDCMD line.
The SD card side returns the status on the SDCMD line to respond to the command.
• The extension CPU detects the SD card and receives the data adjusted to the card format information.

6 Installation Instructions
6.1.
Connecting a Power Source
CAUTION:
• Never touch the power cord during a lightning storm.
• When you operate this product, the wall outlet should be near the product and easily accessible.
• Use only the included AC adaptor and power cord.
6.2.
Connecting the printer to a digital camera
You can connect the printer to a PictBridge compatible digital camera or digital video camera to print recorded images.
