the pulses, the device shall be allowed to return to 
room temperature. The dielectric breakdown 
voltage of the gas tube shall not decrease by more 
than 50% and the gas discharge tube shall comply 
with the electric strength test of Clause 10.3, with 
the test voltage reduced to twice the mains 
voltage.
