Note 1: 

  Be sure avoiding replacement of Front
  Ornament Plate as far as possible.
  If replacement of it should be need, you
  convey the message to your user that
  changing of the “Carl Zeiss Serial No.” is
  needed, and then you may obtain user’s
  agreement, and it replace.

  Remove the Front Ornament Tube using the
  name ring wrench (72mm).

  Name ring wrench (72 mm):
 J-6082-634-A

Note 4: 

  After adjusting, apply the adhesive bond (B-10)
  to the screw.

Note 3: 

If parts at the mount side are removed or installed
with the front lens barrel block assy removed,
the G1 (lens) may be damaged.

Install the zoom rubber ring
so that the step side face
to the 1st lens group.

1st Drip proof

Install the 1st Drip Proof Sheet 
so that the glossy surface face 
to the Ornament Plate Tube.

Note 5: 

There may be the partial blur adjustment washer between 
the back adjustment washer and the mount block assy.

If there was the partial blur adjustment washer, 
return it to the original position.

1.  Apply adhesive bond (B-40) to about two threads from the tips of stopper screw and tighten it.
2.  Dip the Main Spring in the oil (O-20).
3.  Apply grease (G-115) to the outer side of Main Spring Guide.

4.  Apply grease (G-85) to the back sides of claws of mount block assy at three locations.

5.  Set the unit to the WIDE end.
6.  While inserting the tip of lever of Aperture Connect Fork in the groove of Aperture Operate Plate, install the Mount Block ASSY.

1.  Apply adhesive bond (B-40) to the indicated portion of rear Outer Block ASSY and install the Chip (mount index).

2.  Apply grease (G-115) the indicated portion of Rear Outer Block ASSY.

1.  Install three flexible boards and one part to be soldered to the SSM PC Board Block ASSY and fix them with two screws.

2.  After soldering the SSM Flexible Board, make folds.

  Use the plastic tweezers.

3.  Fold the SSM Flexible Board and fix it with the polyimide sheet by covering.

 Be careful for the polyimide sheet not to protrude to the groove (SSM PC Board Block ASSY) for lever of Aperture Preset Lever.

1.  Cut the tips of brush.

Adhesive Bond (B-10): J-6082-612-A

1.  Insert the tip of Zoom Linkage Plate in the U groove of the Zoom Cam Barrel and align the dowels of Zoom Linkage Plate with bosses 

of Zoom Barrel at two locations.

2.  Fix the Zoom Linkage Plate with two screws and apply adhesive bond (B-10) to the heads of screws (at two locations).

2.  Apply grease (FT-210) to the indicated portion of Zoom Barrel. (two locations)
3.  Apply grease (G-85) to the indicated portion of zoom barrel.

4.  Apply grease (G-116) to the indicated portion of zoom barrel.

5.  Apply grease (G-85) to the indicated portion of zoom barrel. (Dents at two locations)

6.  When installing the Zoom Barrel, align the portion A of Zoom Barrel with the cut portion at the side of the Encoder Flexible Board.
 

And engage the bayonet grooves of Zoom Barrel to the bayonets of Outer Barrel at three locations.

 

(When engaged, the Zoom Barrel drops in and can rotate clockwise.)
