HISTORY  MODE
The state that the set is used is memorized.
Note: Even if “MEMORY CLEAR MODE” is performed, the backup data 
of “HISTORY MODE” is not cleared.
 
  Initialize by performing “SHIPMENT MODE”.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [SPEAKERS] and [DISPLAY] buttons, 
press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the power and “HISTORY” is 
displayed.
2.  Each time the [
V] or [v] buttons is pressed, the item is switched 
in order as follows.

SOFTWARE  VERSION  MODE
The software version is displayed.
Procedure:
1.  Press the [
?/1
] button to turn off the main power.
2.  Press three buttons of the [PING], [A.F.D.] and [DISPLAY] si-
multaneously.
3.  The system software version appears.

ample)
Releasing method:
Press the [
?/1
] button to turn off the main power.
PROTECTOR  AUTO  OFF  MODE
The auto off function after protection generating can be disabled.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [SPEAKERS] and [AMP MENU] buttons, 
press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  The message “PROTEVER” appears and the auto off function 
after protection generating is disabled.
Releasing method:
Press the [
?/1
] button to turn off the main power.
SHIPMENT  MODE
Initialize backup of EEPROM and network and return to state of 
the shipment.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [AMP MENU] and [ENTER] buttons, 
press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  The message “MEMORY CLEARING” appears and return to 
state of the shipment.
3.  When done, the message “MEMORY CLEARED!” appears  
and turn off the main power.
FACTORY  PRESET  MODE
The specifi c preset values are set.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [ZONE CONTROL] and [ENTER] but-
tons, press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  The message “FACTORY” appears and specifi c preset values 
are set.
KEY  CHECK  TEST  MODE
Each buttons can be checked.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [SPEAKERS] and the [TONE−] buttons, 
press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  The message “REST 41” appears.
 
Every pressing of any button other than the [
?/1
] counts down 
the buttons.
 
(The buttons which are already counted once are not counted 
again)
3.  When all buttons are pressed “REST 00” appears.
Releasing method:
Pull out the power cord, or do not perform operation for 10 sec-
onds.
FLUORESCENT  PATTERN  CHECK  MODE
All fl uorescent segments are tested. When this test is activated, all 
segments turn on at the same time, then each segment turns on one 
after another.
Procedure:
1.  While pressing the [SPEAKERS] and the [TONE+] buttons, 
press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  All segments turn on.

SPECIAL  MODE
Various version displays of system, test, etc. can be performed.
Setting method:
1.  Press the [
?/1
] button to turn on the main power.
2.  While pressing the [DISPLAY] button, press the [A.F.D.], [MOVIE], [MULTI ST.] button in order, the message “SPECIAL MENU 
ON” appears.
3.  Press the [
V] or [v] button, the message “<<< SPECIAL  >>>” appears.
4.  Press the [ENTER] button, the “SPECIAL MENU” is appears.
5.  Each time the [
V] or [v] buttons is pressed, the item is switched in the order of the following table.
 
Some items can change the content. Display the cursor by pressing the [
b
] button, and change the content by pressing the [
V] or [v]. 
buttons, and fi x the content by pressing the [

] button when you want to change the content of the item.
Releasing method:
To release from this mode, while pressing the [DISPLAY] button, press the [A.F.D.], [MOVIE], [MULTI ST.] button in order again, the

2.  The message “MIC” appears.
3.  Check that sound which is inputted from microphone is out-
putted from the speaker.
Releasing method:

When USB memory (FAT16 or FAT32 formatted) is inserted to 
the front USB connector of this unit and the [ENTER] button is 
pressed, reading and writing operate experimentally and the 
check of whether the front USB connector functions is started.
