1) Remove the screw, and remove the connector cover.

2) Connect the connector and tighten the screw.

1) Pull out the paper feed tray.
2) Remove the screw and the cover.

3) Open the cover.

4) Remove the screw.

5)

Remove the upper cover.

6)

Disconnect the connector.

7)

Remove the screw and the paper feed unit.

Remove the screw and the cover.

Attach the heater and fix it with the screw. Attach the connector
to the frame and fix the snap band.

2) Attach the protect sheet.

1) Attach the snap band of the heater harness unit and fix it with

the  screw.  While  holding  the  harness  upward,  attach  the  AC
cord fixer.

NOTE: After attaching the snap band, cut and trim the end of

the band.

NOTE: Be careful not to mistake the attaching direction of the

AC cord fixer.

2) Pull  the  harness  tightly  in  the  arrow  direction,  and  check  to

confirm  that  there  is  no  disconnection  of  the  snap  band  and
that the square hole in the frame is not covered with the har-
ness.

3) Connect the connector of the heater harness unit. Attach the

earth wire, and fix by the screw.

NOTE: Attach the earth wire at an angle of 45 degrees.

Attach the heater connector cover with the screws (M4 x 8).

2)

Attach the heater cover.

3)

Attach the heater sheet.

1)

Attach the cover, and fix the screw.

1) Attach the paper feed unit and fix it with the screw.

2) Connect the connector.

3) Attach the upper cover.

4) Fix the screw and close the cover.

5) Attach the cover and fix it with the screw.

6) Insert the paper feed tray.

Remove the screw and the connector cover.

Connect the connector and tighten the screw.

Turn on the dehumidifier heater switch.

2)

Measure the resistance value between the earth terminal and
the AC terminal (L side), and between the earth terminal and
AC  terminal  (N  side)  with  the  circuit  tester,  and  confirm  they
are not short-circuited.
MEMO: For 200V system other than North America, there are
two AC cords. For checking with a tester, use the cord in the
left side when viewed from the rear.

3)

When  not  using  the  heater  after  checking,  turn  off  the  dehu-
midifier heater switch.

NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and

main power switches off and disconnect the power plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.

1) Remove the paper feed desk fixing screw.

NOTE: Before turning on the power, check to insure that the fixing

screw of the tray is removed. If the power is turned on with-
out removing the fixing screw, a trouble may be resulted.

1) Attach the mounting plate upper (Packed item No.1) to the

right side of main unit with the fixing screw A (Packed item
No.3). When installing, put the rubber section (

) of the

mounting plate upper on the lower side.

Remove the right door cover from the machine..

3)

Remove the fixing screws (2 pcs.) of the machine and remove
the  cover.

4)

Temporarily fix the fixing screw A (Packed item No.3) midway.

5)

Insert the temporarily fixed screw A into the key hole in the
connection unit and temporarily fix the connection unit.

6)

Fix the other fixing screw A and tighten the temporarily fixed
screw A securely.
