2. Description:  To remedy the toner dispersed out of process unit (in case of high copy volume using the  

 

 

 

original with high area coverage), a part on the MC holder has been modified and a few  

 

 

 

parts have been added to the process frame. 

 

 

 

Refer to the atached work instructions regarding the modified part, where to attach  

 

 

 

additional parts and reference point for the attachment.

TECHNICAL BULLETIN 

Instruction
1.  Turn the screw and remove MC unit.

2.  Release the lock and remove the drum.
     Make sure to protect the surface of drum by using clean black paper and cushion etc.

3.  Remove the MC cover and the DL unit.
     No need to disconnect the connector from the DL unit.

Refer to the figure below when installing the DL unit.

Instruction
1. Adhere  ① MC protection sheet  F PO (x2) on MC following the instruction and caution listed below:
　　* ① MC protection sheet F PO (x2) can be adhered on Grid sheet PO (x2).  (No need to peal off "Grid sheet PO")
　　* Do not scratch meshed surface of grid area and never touch with finger.
　　* Do not clean grid area with alcohol (to prevent scratch etc.).

(3) Press the grid to adhere 
the sheet.

the edge surface. (Do 
not press  the grid 

(2) Adhere the sheet gently 
while holding both sides 
with fingers.

* Do not pull the sheet. See 
the photo below.
