Service Parts Replacing Procedure Manual
Replacing procedure
Remove each part as follows:
Remove screws, then remove the copy lamp unit from
the mirror base drive wire.
Pull the copy lamp unit toward you and remove the
harness to take out the copy lamp unit.
Remove the lamp and inverter PWB in the lamp unit.

*Procedure after replacement

Positioning of lamp
Front side:
*Align the parting line on the rubber holder with the
marks on the claw edges.
Rear side:
*Fit the hook of main body holder hook into that of
rubber holder fixer.
*Hang the harness on the 3 hooks in the top side and
the 3 hooks on the back side securely so that it does not
float or come off.
*Connect the connector to the output connector of the
inverter.
Inverter PWB
*Fix the inverter PWB to the main body with 2 screws
securely.
Mounting the copy lamp unit on the main body
1)  Connect the harness from the main body to the
lamp unit.  After fixing the lamp unit to the main
body, hang the wire on the lamp unit.

3)  Loosen the 2
nd
 or 3
rd
 mirror unit drive pulley worm
screw on the copy lamp unit on the side where the
mirror unit doesn’t touch the positioning plate.
Keep the copy lamp unit wire fixing screws loose.
2)  Remove the copy lamp unit wire fixing screws, and
move the 2
nd
 scanner unit until it touches the 2
nd
scanner unit positioning plate, turning the 2
nd
 and
3
rd
 mirror unit drive gears manually.  At this time, if
the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
 mirror units touch the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
mirror unit positioning plates on the front and rear
frame sides at the same time, the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
 mirror
units are mechanically level and parallel.  If one of
the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
 mirror units touches one of the 2
nd
and 3
rd
 mirror unit positioning plates and the other
does not, they are not level and parallel.  When the
2
nd
 and 3
rd
 mirror units are not level and parallel,
perform step 3.
4)  Without moving the 2
nd
 or 3
rd
 mirror unit drive
pulley shaft in the copy lamp unit, manually turn the
2
nd
 or 3
rd
 mirror unit drive pulley in the copy lamp
unit on the side where the worm screw was
loosened, and tighten the worm screw when the 2
nd
or 3
rd
 mirror unit touches the positioning plate.
5)  Move the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
 mirror units until they touch
the positioning plates, turning the mirror unit drive
gears in the copy lamp unit manually, then perform
step 2.  Repeat steps 2 to 5 until the 2
nd
 and 3
rd
mirror units become level and parallel.
