Error codes and conditions
Network
If you suspect a network problem, consider the following:
• If the Fiery X3eTY2 does not appear in the list of printers on the network, there may be another device on the network with the
same Ethernet hardware address.
• There may be conflicting network settings in Setup and on the customer’s workstation.
• Inappropriate Setup options may cause printing problems.
• Missing or incorrectly placed printer description files may cause application-specific printing errors.

Intermittent print quality problems are difficult to trace. Before you try to troubleshoot print quality problems, print
a test page to make sure that the MFP itself does not need servicing or adjusting.

2. Check the MFP Control Panel for indications or messages
about the MFP status.
