7) The X300 will then ask to keep current data or revert back to

the default MRS data

8) Selection of Standalone or Backup Server is carried out,

therefore if the X300 in not a standalone terminal Backup Server
should be selected

9)  After the above process the X300 will be ready to Power off.

Only if the X300 is a Standalone or Server the following screen will

appear.

10)  The above message is information for the programmer to set

up Terminals if required in the Back Office Module.

8) Enter the MRS code 13974682

(Please note entering an incorrect code will cause the machine to skip the MRS process and

will reboot to the application)

9) Select Memory Initial Execute

10)  Then confirm execution

1) Copy the latest application version to a folder called X300 on

the USB.

The folder directory structure is as follows

X300

APPL

DEFAULT
INST
OS (only required if the Operating system is being updated)

2) Power on the machine with the USB memory device connected.

The update process can be started in 2 ways you can either select
the USB icon option when this available or allow the boot process
to detect that you have an external memory device connected.

Both will prompt you with the following option.

3) If you choose Cancel the machine will boot normally and the
application version will remain as before.

4) If you choose “Yes” you will be prompted to enter the IP
Address of the machine.
