3) When Data Control is highlighted as above select Tools > Select

Option then Select the location to restore from (Hard Disk 3 is the
USB memory stick) i.e. 20050711 as shown below (With Clear is
only applicable when restoring see below).

4) Select OK

5) The Screen will then display Data Control.

6) Now select Restore (All) and choose the correct file and Press
OK

Restoring using the “With Clear” option

When performing a Restore (All) using the “with clear” option all
sales and program data in the POS is overwritten.

When performing a Program Restore using the “with clear”
option all program data in the POS is overwritten.

Restoring without using the “With Clear” option

When performing a Restore (All) without using the “with clear”
option, sales and program data from the backup file append to the
data in the POS.

When performing a Program Restore without using the “with
clear” option, program data from the backup file appends to the
data in the POS.

When setting up the network the Server should be set up first followed by the

Backup Server then the Clients.

2) Perform OS Shutdown on ALL UP-X300’s

3) Power on Server ONLY

During Power up process of Server select Master Reset

4) Enter the MRS code 13974682

MRS process and will reboot to the application)

Change IP Address here and select OK

5) Temporarily select Backup Server/Terminal

6) Set POS Server IP Address

7) Select back to POS Server

8) Select OK
