I am getting the following
error when the SLAVE
5700 / 5300 starts up.

“Prod flat open failed -37
vital exit code -10”

There is a corrupt or missing
Prod.dat file.

To rectify this copy
I:\usr\data\Prod.* c:\usr\data

This will copy the file from
the master to the slave.

“Update failed 14080”
appears when signing on
with clerk you can the clear
the error but it appears
againg at sign on.

The problem occurs generally
after deleting the RTU and
UPINST folders, however
when you delete the files from
here you must ensure that
there is no customer
operation, taking place

I am getting a
“SHARING” error when
Restoring a program
from PC to POS when
using Hard Disks on the
5700 / 5300

.

Error due to the pos
hard disk being
formatted with the /s
switch ie system files
which are read only
and when the restore
is attempted the files
cannot be overwritten.

Format the pos hdd
without the /s switch
then restore the
program, and sys the
hdd later

A product is not showing
on the Receipt / Bill
when using consolidated
printing.

You need to setup an
analysis field set in
Product maintenance
for this product.
