The analysis fields
for the products are
printing out in a
wrong order. Ie
mains as starters etc.

This problem was
reported on a system
connected to IBS
software there is a
procedure to overcome
this normally (see
doupdate .bat) however
in this particular
instance the problem
was caused by
corruption in the PLU
because incorrect
characters were used
such as “ “.

I get the following
error when one of the
Satellite / Slave
machines boots up.

The product file is corrupt
and you need to perform
the following.

Drop the Master and
faulty till into DOS.

Copy the following files
Prod.NX0
Prod.NX1
Prod.DT
From c:\Usr\data on the
master to c:\Usr\data on
the faulty slave machine
and overwrite the existing
files.

I get the following
error when one of the
Satellite / Slave
machines boots up.

This was an
installation of  3 UP-
5300 on a network
with no back office
using Transaction
History. RINCS was
copied from the
master and
the following #
statements and
spaces need to be
removed.

# TRANSTOR=1
# TRANSDRV=C
# TRANEXPIRE=5

The following
message appears
when I try and sign
onto a slave
machine.

“Master Comms error
00a1”

This is an internal
application error
therefore nothing to
do with external PC
comms, The likely
problem is that the
master machine is
powered off or
disconnected or there
is a network fault.
