When I try and sell a
spirit and I don’t
select a splash and
just press the exit
button the spirit is
cleared from the
screen.

Replace the exit
Macro on the
Splash screen with
the following "Enter
Exit” D13,C4

How do I copy one or
more files from a Pc
to the UP5700 /
UP5300 without
using the Network.

Set Dip-switch 3 to be
off.  Connect the Apld
cable .Reboot the 5700
when prompted with
“command waiting”
Press escape and
select exit, once into
dos at the A: prompt
type Intersvr, go to Pc
and select Pos Entry
Mode this will reboot
the PC into Dos then
type f:  This should then
connect to the c: drive
on the POS you can
now copy the file from
your PC to the POS

After going into the
Utility Screen on the
Up5700 and
selecting the More...
key, there is no
option to update
waitermate.

This particular
problem and other
problems reported
has been caused
by the editing of the
Rincs file
incorrectly   when
the # has been
removed from a
statement to
activate it the
SPACE also should
be removed always
edit the rincs file
correctly.

How do I get a copy
of Prod.csv from my
UP5700 / UP5300.
To my pc or other
folder.

On the POS
Make sure you have a copy of the
correct version of S98expo latest is V44.
In the c:\usr\ex directory

Then run the following line from

This will create the relevant
product,group and dept csv files in the
relevant folder.

Remember to delete the s98expo file
when you have finished with it (as it
takes up unnecessary space)
