Cashrsp spool files are always writes to the local work folder  C:\VPro\Work\Cashrsp, 
and this is where they will remain when there is no connection. 
 
Note: The C:\Vpro\Spool\XXX\Cashrsp folder will not contain cashrsp spool files 
when using FTP.

time. When SharpPOS starts up it looks for any files in old dated folders and will 
continuously try to transfer them in the background. 
 
Loyalty 
Real time loyalty is of course unavailable. The loyalty log will continue to accumulate 
however and will be transferred when the connection becomes available. 
 
 
General Points 
 
If any of the features that can use FTP have been configured for FTP but FTP itself 
has not been enabled, a warning message appears at Start-up, SharpPOS will 
continue to start. 
 
Once FTP has been configured, SharpPOS must be restarted. 
If correctly configured, an attempt is made at start-up to establish an FTP 
connection. If this fails, a warning appears, with a choice of retrying or continuing 
anyway. This process is just a test and if the connection is established later, no 
restart is required. 
 
An ‘LED’-style indicator is visible in Trading, showing FTP transfer status (similar to 
and slightly displaced from the existing Commsin indicator).  
Green indicates a 
transfer is taking place,  
 
  red indicates an error condition. 
 
 
Since transfers take place in the background, at the end of EOD a waiting message 
appears (if necessary) to indicate when COMMSOUT transfers are still taking place. 
This wait can be cancelled however, if it is intended to leave the machine running
