Serial Test Mode
The various tests are available by using Serial communication with your PC.

How to Install the Application for Test Mode
PC is required to measure the characteristics and check the function.Some applications need to be installed on it.

8.6.2.
PC Setting
1. Teraterm will be activated automatically if disconnect and reconnect a PC and the Base Unit by a Serial cable.
2. Select "Serial port" from "Setup" menu.
2. Select "Serial port" from "Setup" menu.
• Change the settings of "Serial port setup" as follows. Then click OK.
3. Select "Save setup" from "Setup" menu and overwrite TERATERM.INI.
If you use PC's serial port , then this Port is COM1.
If you use USB - Serial JIG ,then please select the
appropriate settings.
If you use USB - Serial JIG ,then please select the
appropriate settings.
Please check Local echo for Handset and for DCX of B
DVH.

How to Start Serial Test Mode
Conect PC to Unit ,and POWER ON UNIT.
after few second ,Terminal soft show "OK".

9 Service Mode

How to Clear User Setting
Units are reset to the Factory settings by this operation (Erase stored Phone numbers, Caller list and etc.).
This operation should not be performed for a usual repair.
