Top Cover and Center Inner Cover
(1) Remove the Panel Unit. (See 8.2.5.)
(2) Remove the Left Cover. (See 8.2.9.)
(3) Remove the Top Cover by pushing Hooks (arrow 
1
 ).
(4) Remove the Exit Tray (See 8.2.3.)
(5) Remove the 2 Screws A to remove the Center Inner Cover.

Paper Feed Roller
(1) Remove the Feed Unit Fulcrum, the Feed Unit Lock Lever, 
the Belt and the Poly-slider.
(2) Remove the Paper Feed Roller ass’y and the Separation 
Roller ass’y.
(3) Remove the Paper Feed Roller and the Separation Roller.
Reassembling Note:

CIS Unit (F)
(1) Pull the Tab (A) outward (arrow 
1
 ) to unlock the Rib (B) of 
the CIS Unit (F).
(2) Separate the CIS Unit (F) from Main Unit (arrow 
2
 ).
(3) Remove the FCC Cable to remove the CIS Unit (F).
(4) Unlock the 9 Hooks.
(5) Separate the CIS (F) Cover from the Scanning Glass (F)
Ass’y.
(6) Take out CIS (F) .
(7) Remove the Screw C and the Lock Spring to remove the
Reference Plate (B)
