9.2. Service Mode Table (For DVD)
By pressing various button combinations on the player and remote control unit can activate the various service modes for checking.

Due to the limitations of the no. characters that can be shown on FL Display, the “FL Display” button on the remote control unit

counter starts from zero upon mode
setting.
When target block data failed to be
read out, the counter advances by one
increment. When the failure is caused
by minor error, it may be corrected
when retried to enable successful
reading.
In this case, the counter advances by
one. When the error persists even
after retry, the counter may jump by
two or more.
