3-1. Replacement of Board
3-1-1. DK-43 Board
1.
Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
2-2-1.)

Disconnect the three flexible flat cables from the
connectors (CN251, CN252 and CN253) on the DK-43
connectors (CN251, CN252 and CN253) on the DK-43
board.
3.
Remove one screw (BTP 2.6
x10), three screws
(BVTP 2.6
x8) and two screws (BVTT 2.6x5).
4.
Raise the ferrite holder, then remove the DK-43 board.
5.
Remove the PC/MS guide assembly.
6.
Remove the two solders, then remove the upper DK
shield case from the DK-43 board.
7.
Remove the nine solders, then remove the lower DK
shield case from the DK-43 board.

8.
Attach a new DK-43 board in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 7.

Remove the upper cabinet assembly. (Refer to Section
2-2-1.)

Disconnect one flexible flat cable from the connector
(CN1301) on the PW-43 board.

Remove one screw, then remove the PW-43 board.

Attach a new PW-43 board in the reverse order of

Disconnect the seven harnesses and two flexible flat
cables.

Raise the ferrite holder and remove the three screws
(BVTT 2.6
x5), then remove the MD-43 board.

Remove one screw (BVTT 3
x12), then remove the
terminal board.
6.
Attach a new MD-43 board in the reverse order of
steps 1 to 5.
