PAS UNIX overview
1.1 Introduction
The PrintLog Accounting Server (PAS) UNIX print server
enables accounting on UNIX print servers by monitoring print-
ing and reporting printer usage to a PAS accounting server.

The PAS UNIX print server is licensed per server. Each server uses
up a print server license on the PAS 2.5.2 accounting server. If the
number of print servers exceeds the number of licenses you have,
the unlicensed servers will not record any printing activity.

The PAS UNIX print server integrates a UNIX server with the PAS
print tracking environment. This integration is accomplished by
installing a number of cooperating software components on your
