Pull the length of tape (used to hold the staples in place) straight out.

Check to make sure that the stapler has been locked in place, and close the front cover.

Push in the stapler unit until the green lever returns to its original position.

Removing Staple Jams from the Finisher Unit
If the host machine indicates the finisher unit staple jam message, perform the following to remove the
jam.

Remove the stack waiting to be stapled from the delivery tray.

Open the front cover.

Shift down the green lever.

When the staple cartridge has slightly slid out, hold and pull it out.
