B. The procedure for the main unit and the option
height adjustment
NOTE: This machine is heavy, and installation of the options
makes it heavier.

NOTE: Before installation, be sure to turn both the operation and
main power switches off and disconnect the power plug
from the power outlet. Make double sure that the data lamp
on the operation panel does not light up or blink when per-
forming installation.

Cut the inner cover on the front frame side of the finisher
before installing the punching unit.

Remove 2 screws and the rear cabinet of the finisher.

Remove the cover on the rear frame side of the finisher and
remove the dummy paper guide. (This part is unnecessary.)

Remove the protective angle plate (red tag) and 3 screws from
the punching unit (Packed items No.6). Discard it as it is not
needed.

Insert the side-to-side detection unit (Packed items No.5) with
the screws (Packed items No.4 Screw M3x6).

Open the harness from the band to pull out the 4 connectors.

Attach the punchout waste unit from the front side of the fin-

* Put the punchout waste unit (Packed items No.1) on the rail
with the screws (Packed items No.4 Screw M3x6)and slide it
in. (See the diagram below)

10) Remove the shorting connector and save if for future use if
needed.
11) Attach the punch waste hopper.
