3.3.6 MOTOR M4 ENCODER SENSOR (Q8)
Removal
1. Remove upper part ot the Outfeed Cover (
1. Remove upper part ot the Outfeed Cover (
3.1.4).
2. Remove screw [A] ( x 1).
3. Remove screw and washer [B] ( x 1, x 1).
4. Remove safety cover [C].
2. Loosen allen screw [D] and remove Tacho Disc [E] ( x 1).
2. Disconnect connector [F] (
3. Remove screw and washer [B] ( x 1, x 1).
4. Remove safety cover [C].
2. Loosen allen screw [D] and remove Tacho Disc [E] ( x 1).
2. Disconnect connector [F] (
x 1).
3. Remove sensor [G].
Replacement
1. Reverse the removal procedure.
1. Reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Install Encoder Disc in centre [H] of slot in sensor.

3.3.7 TOP COVER INTERLOCK SWITCHES (S2 & S4)
Removal
1. Remove upper part of Outfeed Cover (
1. Remove upper part of Outfeed Cover (
3.1.4), step 1 - 4.
2. Disconnect connectors [A] (
x 4).
3. Remove nuts and screws [B] ( x 2, x 2).
4. Remove switches SF-S4 [C] and SF-S2 [D].
4. Remove switches SF-S4 [C] and SF-S2 [D].
Replacement
1. Connect connectors [A] (
1. Connect connectors [A] (
x 4).
NOTE: Connect the connectors according to figures.
2. Reinstall switches SF-S4 [C] and SF-S2 [D].
3. Reinstall the nuts and screws [B] ( x 2, x 2).
3. Reinstall the nuts and screws [B] ( x 2, x 2).
NOTE: Do not tighten the nuts to hard, that will result in broken switches.
4. Perform adjustment, see below.
5. Install upper part of Outfeed Cover (

3.1.4). step 1 - 4 in reversed order.
Adjustment
1. When opening the Top Cover, make sure the soft interlock switch SF-S2 [D]
1. When opening the Top Cover, make sure the soft interlock switch SF-S2 [D]
breaks before the hard interlock switch SF-S4 [C].
2. Check adjusment of interlock mechanism (
3.1.8).
