act as host for shared printing.
TCP/IP clients can print through

In this section, the back panel of the Fiery X4 is illustrated, followed by information 
for connecting to the Ethernet board. For information about connecting to a Token 
Ring network, see Appendix A, “Token Ring Network Option.”
Shut down the Fiery X4
 
before attaching it to any network device. If the Fiery X4 has 
just finished processing, wait 5 seconds after the system reaches the Idle state before 
using the power switch to turn off the Fiery X4.
