13. USAGE TIME SETTING PROCEDURE                                                 
 
 
13-1. OPERATING CONDITIONS OF THE USAGE 
TIME SETTING TOOL 
The operating conditions of the Gamma setting read tool of the 
information display are as follows. 
OS 
(32bit Only) 
 -  Windows 8 
 -  Windows Vista 
 -  Windows 7 
Communication 
port 
 -  LAN(100 BASE-TX / 10BASE-TX) 
 
■  When connected to the information display 
with a LAN cable

13-2. START-UP OF THE USAGE TIME SETTING 
TOOL

13-3. USAGE TIME SETTING PROCEDURES 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The procedures of setting usage time with use of the Usage Time 
Setting Tool are as follows. 
1) Press [Connection Setting...] button to configure the 
communication settings. 
2) Input the usage time you need to set in the field of Write Data. 
It should be from “000000” to “200000.” Make sure to input a 
6-digit number. 
3) Press [Write] button. 
4) Press [Read] button, and confirm that the set usage time is 
displayed in the Read Data field.   
 
13-4. USAGE TIME CHECK PROCEDURE 
With an image displayed on the display, use the accessory remote 
controller to enter the SERVICE MENU 1, and check the USAGE 
TIME on the column of USAGE TIME. 
To enter the SERVICE MENU 1, press and hold [SIZE] button on 
the remote controller for 5 sec, and press the buttons in the 
sequence of [VOL + ()], [VOL - ()], [BRIGHT - ( )],[BRIGHT +

The procedures of setting model names with use of the Model 
Name Setting Tool are as follows. 
1 ) Input the model name in the field of Write Data. 
Normally, the model name has been already input at the time 
of start-up. Therefore you don’t need to change it. 
2 ) Press [Connection Setting...] button to configure the 
communication  settings. 
3 ) Press [Write] button. 
4 ) Press [Read] button, and confirm that the model name is 
displayed  in the Read Data field. 
* When the model name is changed, turn OFF and ON before 
saving the log and setting to the USB flash drive, restoring the 
settings from USB flash drive or updating the firmware.     
Until turning OFF and On the main power, this function access to 
the previous model name folder.     
 
14-4. MODEL NAME CHECK METHOD 
Press [Display] button on the remote controller to indicate the

15. WHITE BOARD SCREEN ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE 
In the monitor with the internal controller, the video image is input as the analog RGB signal internally.  It is necessary to adjust the 
settings to the proper values on sampling because the characteristic of the analog RGB signal defers from each device.     
When the Main I/F PWB or the internal controller is replaced, perform this adjustment.

15-2. ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE 
1) Start up the monitor and change the input setting to the 
whiteboard.   
2) Display the screen adjustment pattern on the whiteboard.     
    - When the whiteboard is in the [Normal mode],   
      1. Touch the [Setting] on the launcher.     
   2. Input the administrator password.   
   3. Select the [Admin-Settings] tab.   
   4. Touch the [Start Screen Adjust Tool] on the [Touch Panel 
Settings].  
    -    When the whiteboard is in the [Service mode], 
          Touch the [Adj_uty] icon on the desktop.     
3) Start up the Screen Adjust Tool.     
    Touch the [W/B Screen Adjustment] button on the launcher.     
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
4) Perform the screen adjustment automatically.     
  Touch the [RUN] button.   
    The [K] mark is displayed on the left top of the screen and the   
adjustment is done automatically.     
5) When the [Success] is displayed, the adjustment is finished.     
When the edges of screen adjustment pattern are blurred or   
the pattern is not vivid, perform the step 4) again.     
When the pattern is not still displayed correctly even if the step 
is performed again, set each setting from the [Touch Panel 
Tool Property].    
6) Touch the screen adjustment pattern and finish the   
adjustment .   
   
 
<CAUTION>  
- When the [K] mark is still displayed on the left top of the screen 
after the adjustment is finished, the adjustment is failed.    In this 
case, confirm the connection of the monitor and perform the step

16. OPERATING MANUAL OF THE LOG TOOL                                                
 
In the monitor, the user setting and system information are saved as the log information.    There are two kinds of the procedures to get   
the log.   
- Log display tool   
Refer to the “LOG DISPLAY TOOL OPERATION PROCEDURE”.     
- USB flash drive   
Refer to the “SAVE LOG TO THE USB FALSH DRIVE”
16-1. PREPARE
 
PC with Windows XP/Vista/7 OS and LAN configuration 
LAN cable (Cross cable when connecting directly to the 
information display, or straight cable when connecting via a 
hub) 
Information display provided with the LAN function and the log 
output function    Connect the PC and the information display 
with the LAN cable.    If they are directly connected, setting 
must be made both in the PC and in the information display. 
When connecting a PC to the network in order to obtain log 
information from the information display which is already 
connected to the network, consult the network administrator on 
the PC setting.     
 
16-2. BOOTING
 
Press [InfoDisp Report] button of the Service Tool Launcher. 
Select the model for obtaining the log, and press [OK].     
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
16-3. GET AND DISPLAY LOGS
 
1 ) When a model is selected, the following window is displayed. 
The actual display slightly differs depending on the selected 
model.   
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Depending on the models which are not supported are lightly 
displayed. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Confirm that the [LAN] is selected on the [Interface] and click   
[LAN setting] button.   
 
 
 
 
 
 
The following window is displayed.    Input the IP address and 
data port (The default setting of the data port is 10008) of the 
monitor.    When the user name and the password are set, input 
them.    These settings are not saved. Therefore, once this tool is 
closed, these settings needs to be set again.     
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
2 ) After completion of the setting of “1)” press [Get Logs] button.
